We’ve all left sunglasses, CDs and sometimes house keys in cars, but how on earth can you forget your false leg? The artificial limb was one of many unusual items of lost property collected by Europcar recently, from a car returned to its Liverpool branch. Other oddities left in cars include a mannequin, 50 fluorescent light bulbs and a Scottish piper’s black ostrich feather hat. More valuable items include £1,000 worth of designer clothes left in the boot. Of Europcar’s Top 10 lost items, those light bulbs and the piper’s hat were retrieved from rental vehicles in Hamilton, Scotland. A hatchback in Yeovil yielded a pair of furry handcuffs, while the mannequin was discovered at the company’s branch in Hull.  More
