Cars could soon be started by lasers instead of spark plugs!

Police cameras capture 3 billion number plates per year!

Police are using surveillance cameras to photograph three billion car numbers plates a year – the equivalent of 100 pictures every second, new figures have revealed. The ANPR – automatic number plate recognition – systems are taking images of registration plates at a rate of 350,000 per hour – or around 6,000 per minute.
