One of Britain’s drunkest ever drivers is facing jail after police caught him swerving his car on the way home from a party where he drank 15 pints of strong lager. Marcin Ziebacz, 29, gave one of the highest breathalyser readings ever recorded in the UK – with 191 micrograms of alcohol per 100ml of his breath – when police pulled him over on December 28. The drunk driver was more than five times over the limit of 35 micrograms when police spotted him driving his car erratically and swerving on a road in Coventry. He had been celebrating with friends at a late Christmas party where he drank an estimated 15 pints of strong lager before trying to drive home in the early evening. Police stopped him at 6.40pm and arrested him on suspicion of being “unfit to drive whilst under the influence of drink or drugs”. Ziebacz had two breath tests, the first measuring191 micrograms per 100ml of breath and the second recording 187 micrograms per 100ml of breath. More
